Somebody wanted to see pics of a bobbed bed so im going to make a thread out of it. Heres a pic of my old second gen, I didnt bob this one but you get the idea.

Im going to do a step by step bob and dovetail Thread.

Im not going to do the bobbing part until it warms up a bit so heres some pics and the rest will come in a couple weeks.

This bed was done really crappy but you get the idea...

So how about everybody start posting pics of their bobbed and dovetailed beds.

Id show you mine but its just the bare bed on a trailer. Should be on the truck by next week...

Here is mine. We welded plates on the end instead of welding the rear part of the bed back on. The rear part of the bed was pretty bent up it would have been a pain in the ass. It was a long bed, now it is a little shorter then a standard short box.

I have to give credit to my friend Greg. He is my welder, even though he is slower then a seven year itch he does good work, and he is cheap :).
