If all you're looking for is a good looking bumper for cheap, I like the Smittybuilts. I run one on my wife's 87 4Runner. Her last 4Runner was totaled when my daughter drove it through a parked car. She litterally cut the car in half. It did destroy the bumper, but it only damaged the hood and the one fender. It really protected the front end. The only reason they totaled the Runner was because when my daughter pushed the car up over the curb it trashed the suspension on that side. I guess IFS wasn't designed to push up over a curb, while the wheel is sideways to it, supporting both the Runner's weight as well as the other car  I've seen them take some pretty good abuse and protect the front. She also had a car hit her rear Smittybuilt and cave in the whole door. All I had to do is buff the small scuff marks out of the finish. Didn't even take the paint off.
