The Muscular Dystrophy Association is a voluntary health agency — a dedicated partnership between scientists and concerned citizens aimed at conquering neuromuscular diseases that affect more than a million Americans.

MDA combats neuromuscular diseases through programs of worldwide research, comprehensive medical and community services, and far-reaching professional and public health education.

Well the reason this is hear is I am a avid four wheeler and am taking part in the fight to beat this disease. The MDA is holding a Bail-a-Thon on March 28, 2006 in my town and I am participating. If this thread belongs somewhere else please have the moderator place it there by all means. Back to the reason: I am raising money to help fight is disease for serveral reasons. To make a long story short I have several friends and neighbors affected by it. Anyway I would love your help in it. You can make a donation a few different ways. You can simply mail a check to me, make a donation directly to the MDA, or Paypal me and put in the comments sections of the payment its for the MDA Bail-A-Thon and they will waive the processing fee so all the $$$ goes to the MDA. Anyway MDA website is located @ www.MDAUSA.org.
