Hey all, Just thought I'd pick your brains in case any of you have had a similar problem. 97 Tacoma 3.4L the B+ cable at the starterstarted to melt so I traced it out. Through process of elimination I've determined the bus bar in the power distribution center under the hood is shorted to ground somewhere. I've isolated most of the circuits (starter, alternator, ignition switch,etc) but it still has continuity to ground. The harness goes from the PDC into the firewall so my problem lies from the PDC to somewhere there after. Anyone encounter a similar problem before I have to tear this thing into a million pieces? Thanks!
