ya i used primer also, but only on the bondo and where the was bare metal showing, so most of the truck had primer too

it really only took me about 20 hours of work with a couple friends to paint it all, fill in about 3 big dents, smooth the gas door, and make my bobbed bed look clean

if you get up close its not perfect, but with my luck ill have a new big dent next time i go wheelin anyways haha

Yes dana 44 and 14 bolt when i built it. I sold it to my friend who has added a front 60 after breaking 30 shafts. 38.5 boggers and 32 bolt beadlocks.

There are a LOT more pics of it with new owner driving like that pic in the link below if anyone wants to see more.

hey forgot to ask, but how many cans did it take you to do the whole truck???

Looks good.....got to love the smell of Bondo. I hate to think how many hours I have into mine, but I am sure its not more than 30 and thats spraying it with a gun. You can also use a spray gun and spray primer, so your finger does not get black and stuck to the red tip. It may a few bucks cheaper.

Looks like you have some cool friends helping you out, and your girl was helping you out also......shit I wish I could get mine to come into the garage to talk to me when I working on mine.

y dude i was gonna spray mine with a gun, but was too impatient to go through the hassle of one, so i went and bought about 18 cans paint (for those who were wondering) and just got the job done. my finger did get covered in black paint and stuck to the tip a lot, but it was worth it.

o and ya it is bad ass to have a girlfriend that is cool with hangin out and helpin a little with my truck, but she is kinda finding out that LOVE my truck and she is a little jealous of it now haha :redspotda

you could always get one of those gun trigger atachments for spar cans. they work wonders when you have to spray anything large or need it to look nice and even.

i used one of those once

i think its easier to do it without one, they always break anyways
