I'm looking at buying my first cruiser..Its an 1982 4 door with a inline 6..My questions are..What kind of gas mileage can I expect to get? I'm not looking for a gas saver..Not at all. But just wondering..Also how it needs some computer controled smog vavle...Where would I get that? And yes I need it for california..And none of the auto parts stores can get it and the toyota dealership can't get it..So where can I find it? Thanks for the info

Just a few questions, Is this a year you just have to have or is it the only one you can find?
There should be plenty in Cal. You could expect 10-15 MPG depending on the roads you travel, how fast, general condition of the drivetrain. There are plenty of parts houses to look for good used parts, SOR.com ,CCOT, cruiseroutfitters.com (Kurt happens to be a member here) the list goes on and on.
It might not hurt to check here... ih8mud.com in the for sale section
Good luck

Its just a good deal on it..I've never really thought about getting an suv..Cause I've always had trucks, but I saw this and its a good price..Thanks for the different sites..I'm sure I can find what I need.

And of course RuffStuff Specialties......For a huge selection of used parts check out Jonathan at TLC in Van Nuys, not sure what he has for that series but he has a ton of NOS parts.....
