I've go a '85 runner, and i need a new radiator. What better time to upgrade.
Just wonderin if anyone has any sources, or knows anywhere I can get an aluminum radiator at a decent price.

I have looked for aluminum radiators for a 22R/RE before with no such luck. I ended up installing a 1988 3.0 V6 radiator in my 22RE. The body style on the 88 was the same as my 86 and 88 was the first year you could get a V6 and it bolted into the stock 4 cyl radiator location. The V6 radiator is about twice the size of the 4 banger. It stays cool and works very well. The temp guage always sits at a little more than a quarter way up and doesn't ever move.

If you just want improved cooling capacity, just get a 3 row 22RTE rad or V6 rad (which may be the same). I got the RTE rad for my 22R a few years ago for $92 from the local Go-Dan warehouse.
