alright this vehicle is not for sale yet. i want to judge interest and see what kinda money i can get outa my yota parting it out. so here goes.

it is a 1983 toyota pickup, it runs perfect havent had a single problem starting it. it is carbuerated(how ever you spell that), it has a reasonably new muffler and exhaust(by reasonably i mean it has been replaced in the last couple years, so if yours needs a muffler or exhaust let me know) 4 wheel drive works great. has the 5 speed tranny (sorry dont know the tranny code, i would be willing to look if someone would tell me how). everything is stock. it has the 22r 4 cylinder motor, this is the solid axle front and rear encase you were wondering(i know all of you know its a solid axle but just clearing it up for those that maybe didnt know it was) it is currently on 31 in. wrangler R/T. i hate to sell it but i might have to :bluecryin i am located in utah right by riverton. this truck is up for parts or whole, it runs just fine but if i will get more money parting it out that is what i will do. i just NEED the money. thanks guys! :frown: i will try and talk to my dad and see if i can use his digital camera and get some pics up soon.

p.s.
oh and ktoy how come you never talked to goff? he said you never came in?

Let me know when you get the pics up. I would be interested in the truck only as a complete unit - not parts missing. Where are you/the truck located? Just trying to figure out how much work and money it would take to come get it.

I have been looking to do a SAS for quite a while. Please let me know how much for the axle, as well as shipping to 31635 if interested in parting out (and shipping out).
Thank you
Rat

i dont really know how much a front axle is worth so just shoot me an offer and if it sounds good, it's yours.

Would you be willing to ship it?

And what year and condition is it in.

Does it need now seals, bearings, etc. ?

Is it hub to hub?

it is an 83, and honestly i dont know enough about trucks to know whether it is in good condition, i only drove it a litlle, and very little in fourwheel drive. but when it was in fourwheel drive i didnt notice anything that felt wrong. but if you would like, you could maybe talk to one of the more experienced memebers in slc, utah and see if maybe they would take a look at it for you.

If it was not too torn up (ie. splines good, bearings, not too much rust, and no warping of the shafts, I would probably say about $300-$350. Plus shipping of course!
