View Full Version : 3 link front Vs. 4 link front?
We are going to swap out the I.F.S. on an 89 4runner and are looking into running coils instead of leafs up front. I know a few of you have done this and your trial and errors would be usefull info to us. Could you hook a brother up with some input. Thanks-joey skeenrusty@aol.com
4 link for the front for sure its a bit stronger. and 3 link the rear with a panhard bar.

Do you drive this on the street? What kind of steering will you run? Stock, Hydro assist, Full hydro? Typically you see a triangulated link set up with full hydro and something with a panhard for stock steering or hydro assist. (Not a rule just typically.
It will remain a street/ daily driver. So some sort of home fabbed cross over/high steer will be likely. I only drive 4 miles a day to work, and really don't need to drive the truck at all. I just like to.

This is what he is talking about. The reason the site is running is to help one another out. When you post telling people that your company offers this and that....That is spamming, your not giving help to anyone.
