ok well i have already stated what i was doing to my toy with the whole cab swappin and such. i took the 2wd 91 toy into my garage today and started it up and it knocks badly so i am gonna rebuild that motor so after about 2 hours me and (5 of my buddies) lifted my heavy ass cab off the frame and onto the bed so now it sits i'll load pics later looks quite funny haha. so the motor is just chillin there haha i'm gonna tear it down and send it to the machine shop in the next two days then i'm gonna order a rebuild kit for it and once it's rebuild we're gonna start swapping engines and cabs haha. only thing we forgot to disconnect was the e-brake cable so i we just cut it now i gotta get me some dual cases and new axle gears to start that shit. haha but i'll let you guys know how it goes as it gets further along. any comments or support (or occasional flaming) is always appreciated thanks

i'll be getting pics asap. haha i'm also putting some long field super axles (30 splines) in the front, and regearing both axles with 5.29's with a welded rear and a aussie in the front with a regeared second case (4.7:1) and then dual cases on top of that.and bobbin the bed and dove tailin the rear and possibly the front too. it's gonna be a about a month of straight labor but it will be sick when i'm done. so i'll keep you all posted.

Man, it sounds like you are describing my truck. I have pretty much that same setup minus the 529's. With duals and the 4.7's you dont really need a 529. You can do the 4.88 and not get so small on the pinion. Hardcore fourwheeling and the pinion of a 5.29 dont always get along that well and unless you are running 52" Michelins than you dont relaly need that much. Maybe thats just me though. Other than that... sounds cool.
P.S. whats so funny all the time?

ok well today i got off my lazy butt and started putting the motor back together. i got the crank in and 3 pistons. (most frustrating part) the LAST piston will not go in the ****************IN HOLE!!! there is no word that can express the amount of anger that dwells within me at this time. so i tried screwin around with the rings, and one of them broke  so now i have to buy a new set that won't be here til tomorrow and it was like 40 bucks. OMG i am so pissed. the piston ring compressor that i am using is a piece of shit that's why it's not workin well i think. but still i'm sooo mad. so i'll post up some pics when i get the new rings and get the rest of it startin back together.

HOLY POST RESURRECTION.

well i stopped workin on my truck for a long time and now i'm back at it again. the motor is all done and put back together the oil pan and the accessories is all that awaits. so i got the 86 and i took the cab off, pulled the motor, pulled the trans it's just a frame now kind of cool haha. i pressure washed the frame to get all the grease and grime off and then we put it back now i'm gonna throw the 22re in that frame with my trans and then throw the 91 cab on and start pluggin shit back together. should be done shortly an ready for wheelin
