just wondering if anyone else out there has run into these two problems i have been having with my 90 4 runner 22 re. 4x4 manual.
when truck is warm it starts up just fine, fires right up. but when say it sits a couple of hours say over night, it takes it quite a few cranks to fire. then when it does fire it'll pop then die a couple of times before firing up. when truck is running it runs good no missing or sturding timing seems to be good.
Any Ideas I was thinking fuel pump from my experience with gmc trucks. or maybe an emissions control problem say vacuum?

also another problem ive been having, every so often ill hit the key and the starter will just grind. basically get out of the truck and turn the crank by hand not even a quarter of a turn and the starter will engage. I changed the starter first but didnt fix the problem. just curious if anyone has seen flywheel teeth missing to cause this problem? the starter was the easiest to change first and i was just wanting some more info before i pull the trans and the transfer.

thanks and would appreciate any comments
