when i driving my truck in 4wd and put it back in 2wd it makes a loud hummmmm noise what could that be?

im going to be pshychic and guess its a toyota ??? but what year is it? and does it have auto hubs or manual hubs ??


if its auto then most likely your vacuum isnt working well and your hubs are sticking.

if you have manual hubs are you unlocking tem after taking it out of 4wd?

if it's your hubs after you unlock them or take it out of four wheel drive try going in reverse for like ten feet that should totally unlock them.

I have found that when I have a weird noise if one turns the radio up really loud it goes away :redspotda j/p had a 87 many moons ago and the pass. side lock out had a broke spring.
