my truck will lose power after about a day, the battery will go dead. its a 93 22re. the alternator was good but i got a new one neway the battery was good but i got a new one neway i checked all the wires i am getting power and have good grounds. even if i disconnect my battery everytime i stop it will still go dead every day or so? what is it?
when u disconnect it do you disconnect the + and the - or just he - ???
something has to be draining like a door switch or a light of some kind.

yeah like k toy said you have something draining somewhere, you might have a grounded out wire somewhere, check near the steering column, you could put in a kill switch as a cheap fix (also theft deterent), it'd cut off all power to the vehicle when you have it off

i do disconnect both the positive and negative cables...now what do i do?

OK, new batt and alt, disconnect both/all cables from batt and it still goes dead overnite ????
Makes no sense at all.
You need to connect an ammeter in series with the + lead and see how much current drain there is with EVERYTHING OFF.
Approx 20-30 mA is normal. If it's more (like 100 mA +) start pulling fuses until it drops to narrow it down to a specific circuit.
