fj80 axles on my 85 pickup

i am wondering how much wider the fj axles are opposed to thr reg 8'' toy axles and is there a option were you can get e lockers front and rear. also if these are possible to find how much should i plan on spending

guess what my rear end is done. need a truck bed and then shocks and my driveline and the rear is done.

as far as these axles go if you want factory lockers you need like a 95 fzj80 those had the lockers in them and i dont think they are any wider.

The axles are a bit wider I think. You can get them with front high pinion and rear low pinion E-lockers. plan on spending a hell of a lot. The last set I saw sold which were complete were $2500. I think you can still get either 3rd member complete with lockers from a toyota dealer though, then modify normal axles to take them.

ya i just want the front axle and then i'll get axle spacers for the rear. but i rolled my truck on the road saturday and got my license suspended for reckless driving i'm gonna post pics so if any body has any good ideas on what to do with the fenders and stuff let me no. i'm planning on redoing the hole suspension doing a exo and whatever else i can get done before i get my license back hopefully before moab springbreak.

hell ya ktoy i'm looking for a cheap toy bed to but let me no when it is all the way done and we''ll hit up mini moab. o ya how excatly did you cut your fenders in the front. I'm thinking about doing something like that

did you see the pics ??? i used a die grinder cut off wheel and i traced it out just a nice round arch and then cut it off.

i cut as high as you can but on your truck u can cut them high and then straight off int he front


my new fender i cut off straight in the front nad removed the bumper ends.


but ya i have the rear done now just shocks....

maybe you should get some fiberglass fenders for the front ..

ya i was thinking maybe doin a fiberglass bed too. but i think that cuttin the fenders all way so there is no corner light looks dope

nope.. i have some of the stuff you would need. i have a dom 1 inch draglink made my rocklogic and the moddified pitman arm. 100 bux for all of it.
