SPRING MOUNTAIN LAPPING DAY - OCTOBER 1, 2004
DON'T MISS THE LATEST TRIP TO SPRING MOUNTAIN (JUNE 2005) HERE!
Down a long desert highway, there lies a nice little motorsport track known as the Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch in Pahrump, Nevada. Pah-what you say? Pahrump, meaning water and stone. Pahrump is located roughly 45 miles from Las Vegas.
On October 1, 2004, I was very happily able to take part in a Lapping Day School at this track with some wonderful BMW's, Porsche's and even a Supercharged Mini. Not to mention the very multitude of friendly drivers. The track and workers are top notch and the day went great. Much thanks to the organizers, Bob R. and Jeff B. for a stellar job in putting it all together.
The morning started off with a driver's meeting the meeting
center.
Some photos of the vehicles being off-loaded, stripped of loose articles, and of course for some, swapping to the appropriate tires.
