Well, on a last minute's notice, we got some folks together and drifted to Moab for Memorial Day weekend. After Moab on Friday and Saturday, we headed onto Grand Junction, Colorado to run 21 Road.
Here are some pics of both place's, and stay tuned for a article on Off-Road.Com about the day we did 21 Road. Off-Road.com article here!
While in Moab, we tinkered around on Moab Rim, The Pickle (a fairly new trail), and Helldorado. It's amazing how every year the trails change and parts become more challenging. The challenge is great and the people we met along the way is even better...
On the first day, some of the Colorado Chapter folks were off running Pritchet Canyon and so the wife and I went toolin around on Hells Revenge. I gave my wife some opp's to try some obstacle's and she was having way too much fun.

Once the Colorado Chapter came back into town we hooked up with them and went for a short jaunt up Moab Rim to watch the sun (and the moon-Andy) go down.
On Saturday morning, we hooked up with die-hard Jeff and his killer 80' Jeep well equipped with a 401. Jeff showed us a new trail called "The Pickle"... While Jeff wasn't looking, some of the guys stuck their magnetic Wild Yoats decals on Jeff's Jeep....Some hours later he discovered them, however, instead of removing them, he left them and actually thought they looked ok....
On to the Pickle.....Man this place looks like Mars...
The first obstacle can be a bear..Ask Nate, Mr. Birfield didnt feel like taking his truck up and so Nate had to replace him. That was the first sign of this trail...Actually, the rest was not bad...Even Randy (AOR) had a laugh when he went tippy and almost flopped...Thankfully I was standing under him and held him up...(I ate my Wheaties).

After we played at the "Pickle", we continued on to Lower Helldorado to finish up our trip in Moab...
